Our current operations are in Africa, Australia, Europe, Latin America and across Canada from Quebec to BC, including the Artic Territories. The sector focus is typically on remote operations in Mining, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Government, Engineering-Construction & Utilities/Hydro.

Responsibilities and accountability

  • Take ownership of the client projects and deliverables, be responsible and accountable for delivering within time and budget, ensuring project goals, milestones and work breakdown are clearly established, measured and met or exceeded;
  • Manage client expectations, negotiate project scope and additions with the clients;
  • Collect, analyse and document all stakeholders’ needs and requirements, defining the workflows, business and technical requirements;
  • Identify, communicate and mitigate project risks;
  • Handle all communications with clients throughout the project and act as the account representative after project delivery;
  • Implement the solution by leading and executing the software configuration and overseeing integration and customization activities with the technical/development team;
  • Develop and implement quality assurance/user acceptance plans to ensure successful delivery of each project;
  • Help identify and resolve issues that arise and liaise with technical team as required;
  • Write and maintain technical and user documentation: workflows, use/test cases, end user documentation;
  • Engage in continuous training and knowledge sharing activities with the team to always be on the forefront of technologies and methodologies;
  • Foster the company culture, mission and values.

Skills and personality

  • Ability to balance a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced work environment;
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills in both oral and written;
  • Autonomy and ability to work collaboratively with an extended team and the clients;
  • Persistence and determination in solving complex problems and working within constraints;
  • Bilingual English/French. Spanish is a strong asset.

Technical expertise

  • Agile/SCRUM methodology;
  • Project management and Issue Tracking systems (cloud-based);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.;
  • Knowledge of SQL language/Microsoft SQL Server, reporting tools.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in B2B software/web solutions;
  • PMP/Agile certification or equivalent (training can be provided);
  • Experience working on international projects in multiple time zones.
